HISTORY
Brandon, Florida -- All Pro Barbers of Brandon is owned by Lucy H. Barclay, and her mother, Lupe Hernandez. The shop, originally known as Clayton Plaza Barber Shop, was bought by Lucy’s father, Gustavo Hernandez in 1965 from Frank Tellone who established the business in 1962. Lucy began working at the shop in the fall of 1980. She and her mother have been the owners since Gus’ passing away in 1988. The shop was renamed to All Pro Barbers in 2003 to better reflect the professionalism and quality service its customers came to expect from the Barbers. It has been voted “Best of Brandon” for the past 11 years in a row.
