- Ever since I qualified as a teacher of the Alexander Technique over 20 years ago, I have seen that as soon as my older pupils discover how much the Alexander Technique is doing for them, they want their friends and family to come and benefit too. So they urge them to start having lessons. People are often interested but do they take the advice and come? 99% of the time they don't even contact me!
- If 50% didn't come one could understand it, but 99%! Some of my pupils find this very disheartening — and so did I. What was I doing wrong? Could I be putting off all these people I had never even spoken to?
- I have since discovered why it is that suffering people fail to take the help they so desperately need.
