I’m currently knitting a sweater for my boyfriend and am having some trouble. I asked him to measure his chest at the widest part for me, and he said that it came to 38-39 inches. (He’s currently in a different country from me so I can’t measure him at the moment!) However, the pattern I’m working from says that size small is 42 inches, and he normally takes a medium.
