- Brian Hunter was born and raised on the water in Toms River, New Jersey. From the age of 14 Brian piloted Dad's boats to Barnegat Light to dig clams, mussels, scallops and catch bushels of crabs, thus earning allowance money for the next days fuel requirement and a few bucks left over for his "girlfriends". Upon graduation from High School, inshore fishing surpassed his love of crustaceans and off he went in search of fish. During this time Brian had to balance Engineering School projects and his passion for fishing, often times studying the books with one eye, the other on the rods.
