The Aboite Girls� Basketball League, Inc. (�AGBL�) is an Indiana non-profit corporation first organized in August, 1993, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, by a group of seven parents of sixth grade daughters wishing to play basketball in a structured league format. In its inaugural season the AGBL consisted of 12 teams in two divisions involving just over 100 girls. The AGBL is an instructional league in a competitive setting.
