- The Africa Hash Directory started life as an attempt by North Durban Hash to provide contact details for the four Durban Hash Houses. It seemed a natural progression from there to include the other South African Hashes to complete the "South Africanism" of the directory.
- But when we got the first request from a hash in the neighbouring states to include their details we had to consider expanding the directory. Hey, hashing has never been nationalistic; so in came the southern states.
