- Solihull Advanced Motorists (SAM) was formed in 1990 and is a registered charity (no. 1054280) affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). The aim of the group is to help its' members to pass the Advanced Driving Test. This is achieved via a combination of theory courses and in-car coaching, usually over a 10-week period.
