- Karen has been coaching cheerleading and tumbling for local Utah teams and individuals since 1995. In 2000, Karen began coaching tumbling and cheerleading at Studio 1 Performing Arts Centre in Roy. Her teams ranked as the defending Sweepstakes Champions for two years. They also competed nationally in Las Vegas with American Championships. She and her sister Michelle took over ownership of Studio 1 Performing Arts Centre in January of 2003 and sold it to focus on their competition. Karen is the director of the "The Best of the Best" Cheer and Dance State Championships which is held each year in May. In 2004, she and her sister published the first edition of the Exclusive Dance Guide, which is an advertising directory for the dancing industry. Karen is on staff with American Championships and judges National Cheerleading Competitions in California, Florida and Indiana. She also judges local cheerleading tryouts for numerous schools across the Wasatch Front. Karen is currently dancing for the Utah Blaze and was invited to be the assistant choreographer for the Dream Team at Arena Bowl XX.
