For more than Forty Years, Tim Adams has Worked, Studied and Served the Residents of Orange County.

In 1969, Adams worked with Headstart and Community Action Agencies in Bithlo, and all of Orange County; for many Years. Served as the V. I. S. T. A. Volunteers in Service to America Supervisor for all of Orange County and Worked many hours per week in all of Orange County Neighborhoods for the ACTION CORPS Unit: Orange County Economic Opportunity, Inc..

Adams also served in the Board of the Community Action agency of Orange County, and served in other agencies as well.

In 1991 and 1992 Tim Adams served as the Co‐Chairman of the Orange County Comprehensive Plan for the Facilities Portion of the Congressionally‐ Mandated Comprehensive Plan, and Studied the Needs of the area.

In 1983; Adams studied in the area and attended many seminars and Water Resource meetings on the Rivers, Lakes and Streams in the East Orange County Area.

Adams also Served as a Social Services Worker and Employment services Provider for the Orange County Economic Opportunity, Inc. As a Community Activist and Community Organizer, and he also provided much needed research information to many Civic and Community Groups in Orange Neighborhoods and the Winter Park and Maitland Areas of Orange County.

Adams Served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Orlando Opportunities Industrialization Centers, Inc. SM Employment Training Programs and served Hundreds of Orange County business and Citizens Groups.



Adams also served as the Florida People United to SERVE, SM Coordinator in All of Orange County, including many residents and Business Groups in Orange County. While Working as a graduate Student at the university of Central Florida, Adams also Provided counseling and recreational support to the Client ‐ Directed Integration model Program of the U. C. F. College of education in its Exceptionalities Studies Federal Grant Programs. Supported the activities of the Research and Business Development Programs Located in Orange County, and Provided referrals to Many Small Business Owners to its Research Park and Business Development Programs.

While Attending Valencia Community College, Adams served as an advocate for Many Community Improvements to PARKS and Public Transportation Agencies for Citizens and Students, who needed the services of agencies that serve the Citizens of Orange County.

As a County‐Wide Elected Soil and Water Board Member and As the Chairman of that Board, Adams Continued to Monitor the Needs of Citizens who are ; and who were Concerned about the Growth and Development of the Area. Adams has always supported SMART Growth and development in Orange County. Adams Advocated a Linking of Community Interests in Orange County With the Interests of the Brevard County Neighbors to the east of our County also; Such as the Rocket City Development and The WEDGEFIELD Development of the East Orange County area.

Advocated many times for Additional utilities and Smart Growth with adequate Planning and Development implemented with Community input from all Citizens and Community Groups in the Area. Supported and assisted the BlackStone Law School Admissions Review Programs in Orange County.




Tim Adams also served as a Member of Several Student Organizations in Orange County; Alpha Phi Alpha and Alpha Phi Omega, as well as the American Legion and the AMVETS.

During college Studies at the University of Central Florida, Adams served the Residents and Students of Orange County with advocacy for their many community Projects and events.

Adams served as an ELECTED  student Senator of the University of Central Florida and advocated for better housing and Security and Safety Matters in the Roads and Drainage issues that were of great concern to the University of Central Florida Family;

Advocated for the Provision of Needed Services to the Disadvantaged Families of Orange County, and the Veterans and Disabled residents and students who live and Study, Work and Seek Recreation in the Public facilities, and Library facilities in all of orange County, Florida.

As President of Florida P. U. S. H.; We advocated for Equal Pay and Hiring and Promotions for Women and Protected Class Members in the FIRE SERVICES of Orange County, and Won Affirmative Action agreements with the united States Department of Treasury, Civil Rights Division and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This Allowed Many Women in East Orange County to Gain Equal Employment Opportunities in Fire, Police and Sheriff Positions, as well as Public Works Projects in the 1970’s, the 1980’s, and the 1990’s Continuing; even until today in 2010. While Serving as a Comprehensive Employment Act Participant, and administrator, Adams also advocated for, and caused many East Orange County Residents to become employed and Trained in the CETA and additional Federally Funded Programs of the Orange County Economic Opportunity, Inc. and Later, the Orange County Community Action agency, as a Board Member and Community Advocate. Adams serves as a Paralegal Specialist and Works with Mr. Mervyn Cordner, J. D. and others from BARRY University, and other Agencies; to Provide Legal Aid Agency Assistance to Residents and Students of the Orange county community as well.
