Acme ball bearing casters are adapted in such a way that they can be used either as a caster or in the inverted position as a ball transfer unit. Our multipurpose caster consists of a spherically contoured seat. The small balls transfer load from the large ball to the seat and impart free rolling qualities. The small balls continuously enter and leave the loaded area of the seat, providing uniform load distribution and minimal surface contact.
