Troy Acklin has been imagining and creating things from leather, wood and metal since he was seventeen. His passion is to make beautiful, wearable things that can stand the test of use and time. He met his wife, Rachael, in 2007 at Penguicon, a Science Fiction / Open Source convention held every spring in Troy, Michigan. They were married the next year at the same convention, in a pirate wedding ceremony.
