- ACI-Costa Rica is a non profit organization founded in 1967 whose main activity is to facilitate intercultural and volunteering programs among young people from all over the world. ACI-Costa Rica organizes Long Term Programs (6 months to 1 year) for Costa Ricans and foreigners, as well as Short-Term Programs (less then 6 months) for individuals and groups alike from other countries. That way, we would like to contribute to solidarity and friendship between people, sustainable human development and personal growth of the participants as world citizens.

1. To promote fraternity and peace among human beings. 2. To work for a sustainable human development. 3. To encourage substantial changes in the relationships between human beings and the environment and to assure harmony among them. 4. As an organization, the aforementioned principles should be reflected in all our relationships, politics and structures.
