- We are an affiliate of Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. Pastor Chuck Smith is the Founder of Calvary Chapel Churches. These fellowships grew out of tent meetings held in South California during the Jesus Movement of the late 60's & early 70's. Our own fellowship began when a young man, Andy Green, established under Pastor Chuck's ministry, came to Ashland with his wife Paige and began a Bible study in their home.
