Opened first independent living community in McCleary, WA in 1985. Began as Administrator of the Forest Grove Beehive in 1991 and is now responsible for quality care throughout the organization. Served as an officer at the inception of Assisted Living Federation of America. Has served as Executive Officer (or President) since 1990, arranging financing, developing operational guidelines, and designing information/ management systems.
