- Founded in 1983, ACP Interactive was a pioneer in the automated voice response industry, developing applications that enabled callers to complete transactions and access information over the telephone—all without the need for operator assistance. In fact, ACP developed many of the processes and techniques that are common today:
- Over the years, our marketing professionals have successfully applied this automated voice response expertise to the direct marketing of high value database information for products conceived and owned by ACP as well as for such clients as Amway, Kraft General Foods, Pillsbury, Clorox, and United Airlines.
- In 1990, ACP conceived and built MCI’s “Enhanced Call Router (ECR”) service. ACP originated the idea and then, under contract to MCI, wrote the software, installed our proprietary Ditech voice response hardware directly in the MCI network, developed the marketing plans, hired and trained a specialized sales force, and launched the product for MCI—all in a short span of ten months.
