About Richard Fu: Hi, my name is Wai Chong (Richard)Fu -傅煒翀- and I am a Chinese born in Macau, a small city near Hong Kong. You must know it by it’s numerous and famous casinos. When I was a teenager, I tinkered with computer with my cousin. Ever since then, I always had a special interest an affinity to techniologies. Like most kids I enjoyed computer games. When my parents gave me my very first computer as a gift for being the top of my class when I was in form 2 at my secondary school, I mastered DOS and Windows within six mouths. I then went on to teach myself some simple web page design and programming basics through self-help books.
I came to Australia in 2004 for better education and higher career prospects. By the time I graduated foundation year, I knew I wanted to study computing. And by chance University of New South Wales have a double degree of Computer and Biomedical Engineering, so everything fell into places since then.
It might not be easy throughout the university as a international student. However I have made it thought with Honor Class 2. I also found myself get used and love the environment of wealthy contry, Australia. Therefore I have decided to continue my career here.
I have been working mostly as web developer and in touch with PHP, Javascript and CSS everyday. My jobs also involved Facebook Connect and the osCommerce Online Merchant. So, this is the blog I share the common problems on web development and also other programming languages. I enjoy sharing ideas and solve problems with others togather.
