The Internet is swamped with home plan services. The ones that are easiest to find are big superstores, offering thousands of plans from hundreds of different designers. They offer a valuable service with easy-to-use search systems and easy-to-order plans. Brenda Rand has been designing elegant custom homes for 25 years and now offers a series of standard home plans at AboveAllHousePlans.com. Her style is unique, and not like anything you'll find any place else. Her homes are as much art as architecture, with freeform, almost lyrical layouts. They seem to be inspired by Rand's Ozark Mountain location. They'll complement a natural setting - the more varied, rugged and picturesque the better.
