About AbilitiesInMotion.org
In 1989 we began operations as a non profit 501(c)3) organization known as the Berks County Center for Independent Living. In 1997 we changed our name to Abilities in Motion (AIM) to expand our outreach efforts, services and programs. Since that time AIM has grown each year in the number of programs offered and the number of people with disabilities served. Staff and board members draw from their own personal experiences of both living and working with a disability.
