Purpose
Abbotsford BC Canada is known for its religious element and thus intolerance towards certain communities. Having lived in the region for over 40 years a website and group such as Abbotsford Gay Men is well over due. The purpose simply put is to bring Abbotsford out of the closet. Making sure the GLBT community has access to a local site with local attitude and features.
The owner , knows first hand the attitudes of the straight community in the area towards the GLBT community. This attitude has made the GLBT people almost invisible. This site has been created for making the invisible, visible.
Future
There are plans to soon add a forum to the website as well as a chatroom. This is a new website so the future looks good for Abbotsford Gay Men.
