- ABATE stands for American Bikers Aimed Toward Education. ABATE is a not for profit corporation formed to promote and protect the interests of New York motorcyclists. We monitor and interact with the legislative process, enhance the image of motorcycling, and provide educational and social opportunities for members as well as non-members. ABATE will continue to strive to become acquainted with both the issues and the people of the motorcycling community.
