About Our Company
A Walsh Imaging is owned and operated by an Executive Team comprised of Patrick Walsh, President; Thomas D. Walsh, Vice President; and Anthony Iurato, Vice President. Patrick and Thomas entered the company in their teenage years and quickly became interested and well experienced in their field as a matter of personal choice. During this time the company employed Anthony in 1991 as a Processor Service Technician. Over the years, Anthony's strong work ethic assisted him with his growing responsibilities. The Walsh family asked him to join their company as a partner in 2003. The excellent relationship between the three enables them to work as a unified force to handle and manage all of the company's day to day affairs.
Mr. and Mrs. Walsh originally founded the company in 1970 following Mr. Thomas Walsh's long service as an X-ray Service Engineer for the world renowned Picker X-Ray. Picker X-ray produced air dropped x-ray labs for the Army in World War II and the Korean War and later became pioneers in the fields of cobalt treatment for cancer, ultrasound and nuclear imaging diagnostics. Walsh X-ray began as a small business with few employees yet quickly flourished due to hard work and perseverance. Sarah Ann Walsh was a crucial part of that success and worked along side her husband. Mrs. Walsh also attained experience as an X-ray Technician, which she received while working for several reputable health care facilities.
To symbolize both the digital radiography era and the new Executive Team the company changed its name to A Walsh Imaging in 2003. As a company and as individuals, we have come a long way since our humble beginnings. The past seven years have given us an unprecedented amount of growth and in the process we have acquired several of our competitors; as well as more than doubled our clients and staff. In 2007, our corporate holdings were expanded with the multimillion dollar purchase of the commercial complex we are located within. Our astounding projected growth rate will be nearly triple within the next decade - a sign of great assurance about the future of the company in the new millennium.

Disposal of Equipment: Certified for hauling and disposal, A Walsh Imaging's immensely skilled x-ray service technicians are properly trained in the disabling of the control (generator) and transformer. As well as the proper removal of the x-ray tube. They are not only knowledgeable on the installation of x-ray equipment, but the processes necessary to adequately use them. As well as how to re-locate, transport, disable and disassemble them properly.
Disposal of Film: Besides assurances of continued patient confidentiality, you should be able to determine that these films are destroyed in an environmentally sound manner. Your selection of an outside vendor is a matter of trust and serious obligation. We are also capable of recommending a registered physicist to perform your annual testing as state required. RCA Service: RCA stands for Remote Connect Assistance and is A Walsh Imaging's remote support service for digital radiography. RCA offers a multi-session off-site remote viewing technology with the capabilities of screen sharing; application sharing; dual file transfers; diagnostic testing; reboot/reconnect; unattended support; and so much more all while being both PC and MAC compliant and universally accepted by all of today's popular internet browsers. In addition to this it offers the highest form of security encryption available and is 100% HIPPA compliant and to really make it worth your while you don't need to invest in high speed internet access to take advantage of this valuable tool.
Room Design: In person consultation is a key component to this process. A Walsh Imaging will work with you to decide what type of equipment will be purchased or used and the layout for the rooms involved. During our site visit, an evaluation of the room size will be performed and equipment positioning will be discussed with either the client or their representative.
Room Leading: A Walsh Imaging has been supplying radiation shielding for over 35 years. We are capable of supplying shielding to customer specification. This allows for greater flexibility in the design for our customers. We work in partnership with you to develop appropriate designs to make assessments on the proper shielding required.
