- A Greyhound's Wish was started when a fellow group of volunteers from an existing greyhound adoption group recognized the need for an additional greyhound adoption group in Anne Arundel County MD. A Greyhound's Wish, Inc. officially became a non-profit 501 (3)(c) organization in January of 2000, and the rest (as they say) is history.
