AFSCME – the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees – is the largest union at the City of Eugene! AFSCME represents all the“general service” workers at the City except those covered by police, fire and the stagehands unions. AFSCME Local 1724 was organized in 1971. There are approximately 120 job classifications represented by AFSCME and our pay ranges from $10.23 to 26.34 per hour.
