The AIDS Committee of Simcoe County started like so many other AIDS service organizations as a volunteer run organization. People infected or affected by HIV came forward to volunteer their time and on October 31, 1995 ACSC became an incorporated not for profit agency. In these last ten years the organization has grown from one staff person to three plus a number of great volunteers, serving a client base of 68 service users and over 1500 youth a year.
