On September 11th, 2001 (the day of 911) Taj was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. As all aircrafts were grounded on that day Taj may have been the only child flying in Canadian airspace during that afternoon as a King Air Ambulance rushed him out of New Brunswick for emergency heart surgery in an attempt to save his life.
