- I am 30 years old (almost 31) and I live on Long Island in New York. I have a sedentary job and most of my hobbies are sedentary (TV, Video Games, Computer). Over the past couple of years I have been trying new things like backpacking, kayaking, and mountain biking, but because of my weight it's been tough to really get in to them as hobbies. Wanting to participate in more active hobbies is one of my biggest motivators for losing weight.
