I recently bought a 2003 Ferrari 575M from Exotic Motorcars and I experienced nothing but deception, incompetence and out right advertising fraud. I had to wait over two months to even get the car after they sold the GT3 RS I traded to a lead I provided before they even had the trade! The paperwork was wrong, with the wrong mileage and car designation and even after pointing it out multiple times, the final bill of sale was still incorrect. The car that they delivered was a disaster, not even register-able in CA. Read on if you dare :crying:
When I received the car it came with no records to back up the claims that it had been fully serviced and most recently ast Shelton Ferrari when I had been told that they would be delivered with the car. As any Ferrari Buyer knows, if the car hasn’t been serviced and kept up, you probably want to keep walking unless the price reflects it… this one didn’t
The car didn't have two of the main options that were my top criteria for purchasing the car when the advertisement and sales person said they did. To make matters even worse, one of the options, the Scuderia Shields weren't factory but some crappy after market knockoffs. The final wammy was the car was not even legal to register in CA without work because the engine warning light was is on. Also, the front tires were shot as well as the front brakes making the car not even saleable by a dealership in CA. The car only has 4700 miles on it. This car was represented as "meticulously maintained. You do the math.
I have purchase over 70 high line cars in my life and have never had this bad of experience. My hope is that I can prevent other Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley and other high line automotive enthusiasts from having this nightmare by telling this story and hoping that you steer clear of this dealership.
