The chairman of the Long Term Finance Committee has proposed a “Capital Initiation Fee” for both lot and home sales within the community of Big Canoe. Originally, it was suggested that any house or lot sold in Big Canoe would also be the subject of an additional $4000 fee (thus the name of the this website). It has since been changed to an additional fee of 1% of the sales price.
