- John ("Juan") Xuna, a Candidate to the US Congress (General Election 2002), has been registering "strategic" internet domain names for a few years now, with the purpose of selling them later, or using them in his business/family/social projects. Years later he earned a Master degree in Telecommunications (University of Colorado, Boulder, 1993). Juan was a pioneer in the development of applications software for personal workstations, and holds several copyrights in database design. He founded two software entrepreneurships (1979,1992). As a hobby he has been designing websites (with Microsoft FrontPage) for about 5 years now, mostly for personal projects. However, due to his candidature he has resigned to his last position (as Vice President of International Sales for a Nebraska company) and he is counting on this marketable ability to help him cover his personal expenses while campaigning for public office.
