29k Productions grew out of two friends' passion for creating visual art. Stan Drennan and Matt Jensen met in high school and continued their pursuit of education in Northwest Nazarene University's Film Studies program. Together and with the department they worked on numerous short films, commercials, and regionally-broadcast television programs. The first film produced under the 29k Productions label was "Want Ad" in 2006.
