Hi there id just like to add a comment regarding the shocking services 1&1 internet provide i set up a business webhosting package and i now get emails telling me my site has been sending to many emails and it now comes under spam mail , ok the first time i got the emails from this company i requested what should i do about it as i didnt send any emails from my webspace they agreed to unlock it i then took it off checked all the files including the ones they say was causing the problem in the first place i then done a full overhaul and re-uploaded my site and the advised me i need to change the editing settings i done as advised and i have now got it locked a second time they also state in the email that you should remove the files but as everyone is aware you cant access the content of your site untill these ballbags unlock it again its a rubbish way of dealing with customers and i call for a real change in the way these people are allowed to act in a situation like this as its just not good enough i do understand they need to take action tho there are other ways to do this and this is not the way to go they locked my site and i called them to see whats was going on they told me i need to mail the abuse department to et it unlocked i did so after telling them they were getting no money for the service im not getting next day they unlocked the site i then began removal 2 days after this they took the payment of £62 and now on the fourth day after all this crap service they locked it again i will be looking for a refund for that money as i refuse to pay for something im not getting if not then i will be sueing them as we are only people but hey we got rights aswell and our rights permit us to fight these idiots who are supposed to be calm and deal with customers with problems i have so far not seen any of this as the services are totally rubish and i feel they do not have a clue how to deal with such situations therefor can only say to all the other people out there lets stand together and fight back we need to stop these people you can get me direct at stephen_king_1@hotmail.com if you are willing to stand up and be counted . many thanks for reading i hope it helps many others in situation with these people (STAND UP BE COUNTED AGAINST THESE PEOPLE).

1&1 Internet (which might also be called 1 and 1 Internet or 1 & 1 Internet) is a piss-poor excuse for a service company, and I advise you to never use them for your web hosting, web site hosting, webhosting, internet service provider, or as your webhost. 1&1 Internet has possibly the worst customer support of any company I have ever dealt with in any industry. What follows is an e-mail I sent them this past weekend, to which I (of course) got no response from 1&1, not even from Andreas Gauger (Chairman of the Board), Ralph Dommermuth (Founder, CMO and CEO of United Internet, 1&1 Internet’s parent company), Achim Weiss (CTO).
What follows is an e-mail I sent to complaints@1and1.com, which (of course) went compleltley unanswered, in regard to the twenty seven (27) hours of downtime I had here at jeffcroft.com (and several other sites I host) late last week.
Update: About an hour after posting this, I got a response from 1&1 offering me a free month of hosting. Hard to say if this post had anything to do with it, but it sure feels a little contrived to me. While I wouldn’t really say they’ve made up for the frustration I dealt with, at least they did something. The e-mail they sent me is now included here, as well. Update #2 (March 4th): A week later, this entry is now the fourth result on a Google search for “1&1 Internet”. I don’t feel the least bit guilty.
