Middleboro (Plymouth area), Massachusetts Bed and Breakfast Inn - 1831 Zachariah Eddy House Bed & Breakfast - Middleboro Lodging - Introduction
Excerpted from the website:
- The Zachariah Eddy House was built in 1831 as a Greek Revival home and was renovated in the late 1800's with Colonial Revival detail. It still retains most of its original beauty and charm. In an effort to preserve the integrity of its unique architectural style, we have made the decision not to alter the character of individual rooms in order to add all individual baths. Although this has presented some minor inconvenience and is not pleasing to all, we believe that it is important to protect its character in this way. Bathrooms, therefore, may be available in any number of ways from private ensuite (in-room) to private detached (just a few steps away) or on occasion shared (with one other party). Private baths are naturally most preferable and are always made with the earliest confirmed reservation.
