LYONS - Clarance "Wayne" Waggoner, 84, died March 12, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born June 22, 1924, in Lyons, the son of Royal and Mary Oden Waggoner. He was a lifetime resident of Lyons. He was a retired farmer and electrician, having owned Waggoner Electric. He graduated from Lyons High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion for 57 years, Lyons, and Kansas Pork Producers.
