Can you imagine how important sites like this might be to same-sex couples living in remote areas around the world? They are able to SEE that they are not alone. And just to be clear, we, and our advocates, are gay and straight, liberal and conservative, multi-ethnic, young, old, Christian, Muslim, and all faiths and ages in between. Are you here too?
10,000 Couples (aka 10,000 Same-Sex Couples eMagazine) was launched in October 2009 as a FREE online magazine, or e-zine, dedicated to celebrating, affirming, and strengthening the commitment of gay and lesbian couples to one another, to their relationships, and to their families.
What do you get from us?
The goals of 10,000 Couples are not complex, thanks to you!You told us you're proud of yourself and your family. So we're working to share the faces of as many as 10,000 of our beautiful best same-sex couples from around the globe to represent the real faces of marriage equality. Same-sex couples are -- and always have been -- in positive, healthy, and joy-filled relationships, and it is time those images get equal attention and equal care.
You told us you wanted relevant and practical information. 10,000 Couples is committed to providing useful information to and about same-sex relationships in every stage of the relationship. Each monthly Issue provides subscribers with original, compelling, and current content aggregated from a wide variety of authors.
While visibility is difficult for some gay and lesbian couples, we believe that our invisibility is one of the ways others dismiss us so easily..

So, we are also committed to building support for and with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgendered (LGBT) community and like-minded groups.
