The 100th Monkey phenomenon was raised from a scientific study in the Asian Pacific islands during the 1950's when a group of scientists made a fascinating discovery about the transferrance of idea and energy. After weeks of a bunch of little monkeys choking down dirty sweet potatoes that the scientists had dropped from aircraft, a female baby (slightly more evolved?) monkey decided to rinse her food off in a nearby stream. Before long, the whole island of monkeys caught on, and began washing their food as well. Perhaps more fascinating is that on an island 100 miles away, monkeys there also started washing off their sweet potatoes.
