About 100.com Search engine
This search engine has been around since 1998 but gained prominence in 2004 when it re-launched with its 100 top search results for each search term theme. In November 2013 following the sale by the owner Globetrotting Media of the 100.com domain name, the 100.com search platform was merged with entertainment portal Q Network. Both 100 and Q Network were launched in 1998 by Jeff Gold who sold them to interests associated with Globetrotting Media in 2002. Globetrotting Media is an adjunct to the Big News Network news service, also established in 1998.

Q Network (formerly 100.com)
Description of Site
Q Network began as a search engine in 1998 utilising the domain 100.com. It was re-launched in 2004 with the theme that it delivers the top 100 search results for any and every search term submitted. This produced a faster. More relevant result for searchers as opposed to conventional search engines that returned tens to hundreds of thousands of results, and even into the millions. 100.com collates results from its own sources as well as other mainstream search engines. The site also provides an extensive news service covering breaking news as well as stories from various geographic locations worldwide. In 2013 the site was merged with Q Network but was not formally re-launched until December 2016, at which time it was still a work-in-progress.
