To date we are in de facto care of 33 horses. Several of the horses spend their time as therapeutic riding horses while they await loving homes, as do some of our permanent residents. They enjoy their “jobs” while in the care of Sunkissed Acres. We have found homes for nearly 100 horses in 4 years, we have lost others to natural causes and old age, and we have euthanized those who were beyond our help.
