Dr. Mark Mann was born in the small town of Muleshoe, located in west Texas. Raised in Portales, New Mexico he graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1981 with degrees in Chemistry and Biology. After a few years working as an industrial and biomedical research chemist in the Houston area, he returned to academic study in 1984 and completed his D.D.S. in 1988.
