Windsor was founded in 1950 in Brooklyn, New York and later relocated to Farmingdale in 1972. Rapid expansion created the need for larger facilities and another move to our present corporate headquarters: a 50,000 square foot warehouse in Newark, New Jersey's historic "Ironbound" district.
Even as far back as 52 years ago, we recognized that technology advances rapidly, and that "state-of-the-art" one day becomes obsolete the next. We developed a keen ability to assess the value and marketability of excess materials and products and find a viable buyer. In a small warehouse in Brooklyn, NY, Windsor Distributors, Inc. was formed. Through client satisfaction and a reputation for professionalism, the demand for Windsor's goods and services continued to grow.
