Hi,

Freewebs has had a big impact on my life because it provided a way for me to share with family and friends and other people who have had a significant loss in their lives a way to remember that special person by allowing me to create a web page in memory of Jenny, my wife of 49 years.

Jenny and I were first loves ... She was also a mother and a grandmother who was deeply loved by one and all and is sadly missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

The story of how I met and lost Jenny can be found on my website under the page My Story ... In between all these years I have a lifetime of the most wonderful memories we shared together, memories that I can look back on and treasure for the rest of my life...

But this story is not about me, it is about a woman who was loved by everyone she met, a woman who is known to her family and friends as a person who would put herself last in any kind of situation, a woman who would do anything for anyone at any time without even having to be asked. Jenny loved life. She knew how to smile and laugh, how to be happy, how to deal with the not-so-good times. And when she got sick, she still was able to ask us to take care of one another...

Jenny had tremendous courage and strength right through to the end and for me that is what I draw upon to help me find my way through life without her. I have had a significant loss but I am also grateful that I have a family who loves me and friends who support me, Jenny was indeed an inspiration to all who knew her and I like to think of her as Our Jenny .

I wanted to do something special for Jenny and, after looking at a website on Freewebs that a friend of mine did for her dad, I knew I just had to try and build one for Jenny. Although I had no previous experience, I decided to give it a try. The website that I have created is dedicated to Jenny as a tribute to her memory and life and the kind of person that she was.

Thank you for allowing me to share this with you all.

Ian Williams.
