Hi, I'm Gus 'Taco Kid' Gonzalez and I've been involved with music ever since a teenager. I received several awards for voice in high school and competitions. I began working
at Hacienda Records in 1988 where I handled the Sales and Promotional Sectors. I've promoted many artists ranging from Ruben Vela to Albert Zamora with their mega hits like "Coco Rayado" and "Prieta Casada". I also released a couple of albums in the mid to late 90's and enjoyed some success with my music. I joined up with Crown Records where I also promoted many great new acts like Siggno with their hits, "Pero Hablame", "Esta Lloviendo", "Un Poquito", "Sin Tu Amor" and Conjunto Oro with "Un Cachito", "La Decision", "Tu Fracaso". Additional contacts with other new artists made me realize that there is a lot of great talent out there needing to be discovered. Now I've started Taco Kid Entertainment to help promote other artists as well in the Tejano and Regional Mexican industry.
