We are a community of concerned citizens that would like to discuss issues surrounding smart growth, environment, transportation, and water surrounding the development of Rooney Valley which is located in the city of Lakewood, Colorado.
Please look at the project map to see the area affected and see the movie of check out the issues section for an overview of our concerns.
The success of this project will depend on your contributions to our site. Think of this as an opportunity to publicly bring forward and examine in depth issues at a level that that local media cannot. It can also represent our citizens voice in decision making by our local government that reach beyond three minutes at the Lakewood City council meetings.I encourage people who are interested in these issues to join us and participate in on-line discussions.
