Seventy one years ago, in 1930, the concept of soap in the modern sense was unknown to the most of Kerala. The most popular form of ambulant was 'Inja' a fibrous material prepared from the skin of a medicinal plant. It was on those days a young man inspired by lofty cosmetic vision and equipped with a thorough knowledge of ayurveda, entered the area of soap manufacturing and eventually turned the business in to a healthy skin culture.
