Marco Piludu was born in 1963 in Nuremberg. Studies in Munich, Freiburg, and at Folkwang-Hochschule for Music in Essen.

Landmarks in his musical career

With the Broadway Musical Company New York he was touring in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, The Netherlands and Slovenia.

Musical-projects

a.o. with the Nuremberg Symphonic Orchestra. Guestmusician in numerous bands of the south-German jazzscene (Munich, Nuremberg, Würzburg, Stuttgart)

Own Projects

Extensive tours, a.o. invitations to productions with broadcasting and television companies (BR and WDR Cologne).

International Festivals with own projects (Jazz East West, JazzOpen Stuttgart, Stimmenfang Festival Nürnberg)

Timeline

February 97: In New York took place the recording of his second CD called "New York Travels". With the international known jazzmusicians Tim Hagans (Trumpet) and bassplayer Tony Scherr (Jazz4Ever-Records).

April 98: production of the Bavarian Broadcasting Company with The Sting Thing, Sting Goes Jazz.

May 98: Live recording by SDR Stuttgart with Marco Piludu International Quartet, feat. Terumasa Hino (Japan, Trumpet), Manfred Bründl (Bass), Michael Kersting (Drums).

1999: Il Gruppo Azzurro ~ Italian Evergreens Go Jazz

2001: Foundation of the "Dinkelsbühl Jazzclub

2002: Schlagers Go Jazz, with guitarplayer Titus Waldenfels from Munich.

2004: Marco Piludu 4 ~ Originals And New Standards   2007: Piludu ~ Schmeußer Group. Urban Sounds with drummer Stefan Schmeußer from Nuremberg.
