Title

Northeast Tennessee Mountain Bike Association

Description

NTMBA was formed in December 1998 to promote mountain biking and mountain biking opportunities in Northeast Tennessee. We are affiliated with the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) and are strong advocates of responsible mountain biking and natural resource preservation. We are a 501(C)(3) charitable non-profit corporation.

Our members spend hundreds of hours each year in the woods maintaining trails all across Northeast Tennessee. We have a working relationship with virtually every major recreational land manager in our region. We have developed trails at Warriors Path State Park, the Elizabethton Watershed, and have ongoing projects in the Cherokee National Forest.

We lead guided trail rides and outings year-round that are geared for beginning all the way up to advanced riders. All our rides and events are geared towards fun and to help you get as much as possible from your cycling experience. We also have a dedicated group of endurance racers that compete in 12 and 24 hour races throughout the Southeast. Many first-time racers have come away from one of our events with a smile on their face and the discovery that racing is much more than just about competing.
