Description
This entertainment complex hosts concerts featuring country, rock, reggae, rap, jazz, R&B, and other popular formats. Acts have included Dionne Warwick, Hall & Oates, The Tempations, Bonnie Raitt, George Strait, The Judds, B.B. King and many others. Private events such as the Governor's Inaugural Ball, a Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra performance, Springtime Tallahassee's Grand Ball, and theatre with Dick Fallon and Florida State University’s Mainstage have been held here as well. The Moon has also been the primary local venue for big pay-per-view closed circuit events, political gatherings, and cultural happenings. Other evenings are up for grabs; it could be a ladies’ night or a "Stetson" night, so call ahead to find out. The 21,000 square foot space includes four levels with five main bars.
