Jane has been teaching English in London for over ten years, specialising in English for business, finance, law and English for Cambridge, TOEIC and TOEFL examinations. With a background in law and journalism, she qualified as a teacher in 1992 at International House, London, an institution globally-recognised for its excellence and affiliated to the British Council. She works on a freelance basis providing English training both at the Nippon Club in Piccadilly, London and at financial and legal companies in the City of London. She has worked with a great many nationalities of English learners and recognises their difficulties in speaking and understanding English.
Lindsey qualified as an English teacher at Westminster College in 1995. She then taught at the Cambridge Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark for four years, preparing adults for the Cambridge Proficiency, Cambridge Advanced English and Cambridge First Certificate Examinations. In 2000, she studied Phonetics at the University of Westminster, London, gaining the International Phonetic Association Certificate of Proficiency in the Phonetics of English. She now specialises in teaching pronunciation and accents, helping people to understand the differences between the various accents of English, such as British and American English. Her clients include both native and non-native English speakers who wish to improve their pronunciation and master a particular accent.
