Description

Czechoslovakia was a sovereign state in Eastern-Central Europe that after declaring its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, existed from October 1918 until 1992. On January 1, 1993, Czechoslovakia peacefully split into the [Czech Republic] and Slovakia.
