since I was a beta tester on City of Heroes and I'm really looking forward to Star Trek and eager to give Champions Online a try since it's based on the paper version of the game. A few days ago Cryptic decided to put on a very well meaning promotion where you could purchase a lifetime or a 6 month subscription to Champions Online and get a guaranteed spot in the closed beta of Star Trek: Online which is coming up later in the year.
