Don enjoyed an uneventful education and left senior school after year 10 and started anapprenticeship as a fitter and turner at the tender age of 16. He spent seven years in the trade before leaving and starting a new career as a sales representative. Another 5 years, a marriage, a new home, the beginnings of a family and a new career move saw him enter the Earth Moving Business with an old bobcat and truck.
